On September 11, 2001, terrorists flew commercial airliners into the World Trade Center towers.
Women were twice as likely to get injured while evacuating, according to a Columbia Study. Was it a question of strength? Confidence? Fear? No, it was the shoes. Survivors reported tripping over piles of high heeled shoes in the stairwells, impeding the evacuation process.
If I told you that tomorrow at 10:00 A.M. you’d have to make run for your life, what kind of shoes would you wear when you get up tomorrow morning? I encourage women (and some men) to at the minimum, have a pair of active wear shoes in the trunk of their car or under their desk at work.
Remember you don’t have to out run the bear. You just have to outrun the person next to you.
If you’re sure you’ll never have to make a run for it during an emergency, go ahead and skip the buying of those sensible shoes. However, I strongly advise you to at least read “The SHTF Art of War”. You can get it immediately with no waiting on KINDLE.
