Who Are You Really?

bike

In a life or death, desperate SHTF situation, I for one, cannot say for sure what I would or would not do to survive.

I say in my book that no one really knows what their disaster personality will be until they are confronted with that disaster.

However, when I take an honest look at myself in that mirror and based on my background and experience, I have a pretty good idea of who I am.

ignorance

I encourage you to take a hard look at your apocalyptic reflection in the SHTF mirror. Take note of how you’ve reacted to austere environments, extreme stress and interpersonal conflicts in the past.

You might not like what you see. But that is who you are and more than likely who you’ll become when put to the test.

Desperate people do very desperate things. What are you willing to do to protect your family.

NASA study says we’re doomed!

nasa1

A recent NASA study say’s we’re all doomed and there’s nothing we can do about it.

I say we max out that credit card and party it up this weekend!

Civilization was pretty great while it lasted, wasn’t it? Too bad it’s not going to for much longer According to a new study sponsored by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, we only have a few decades left before everything we know and hold dear collapses.

The report, written by applied mathematician Safa Motesharrei of the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center along with a team of natural and social scientists, explains that modern civilization is doomed. And there’s not just one particular group to blame, but the entire fundamental structure and nature of our society.

Analyzing five risk factors for societal collapse (population, climate, water, agriculture and energy), the report says that the sudden downfall of complicated societal structures can follow when these factors converge to form two important criteria.

Motesharrei’s report says that all societal collapses over the past 5,000 years have involved both “the stretching of resources due to the strain placed on the ecological carrying capacity” and “the economic stratification of society into Elites [rich] and Masses (or “Commoners”) [poor].” This “Elite” population restricts the flow of resources accessible to the “Masses”, accumulating a surplus for themselves that is high enough to strain natural resources. Eventually this situation will inevitably result in the destruction of society.

101 Piratical Security Contractor Quotes.

danger stay back

Hello, my name is Jeff. The author of “The SHTF Art of War”.

I am also a former Security Contractor that has worked in the Middle East.

I was fortunate to have been able to be around some very practical and extremely knowledgeable individuals while working on various contracts.  More often than not, I find those type of qualities to be a rare thing in the world of contracting.

And when I say “contracting” I’m referring to working as a civilian in a conflict zone for a private company that’s procured a contract to provide a specific service to the U.S. Government or other various agencies.

My footsteps through the sandbox led me to cross paths with some seasoned men on their own program, so to speak, such as James Price of Death Valley Magazine and Tom (Tomahawk) Moore who just recently appeared on the Discovery channels survival show called “Dude You’re Screwed”.

I met a few other warrior philosophers like Tom and James in my warmongering travels as well.  I’m thankful that I had the presence of mind to keep my mouth shut and listen to those who live life on their own terms, outside the normal 9 to 5 stateside world.

During my travels and working on various contracts in the Middle East, I wrote down those pearls and gems of advice spoken by those wise and sometimes cantankerous pirate types that operated on their own program.

While they may not all be new or original, I will now share my compiled list of …

These “101 Piratical Contractor Quotes” are from an ebook I wrote in 2009 when I came home from Iraq.

That little known book was called “Contractor Secrets Revealed.”  It has information that will pertain to anyone doing most any kind of contracting work overseas as well as armed service men & women on military deployments.  It’s filled with intricate details you can only learn by being there.

I’m making it available for FREE for a limited time.

It may be a little outdated but there might just be some information in it that will move you ahead of the herd of war mongers trying to get on a contracting job.  It also just might help advance you in your current job.

Electrical Grid Attack

blackout

I’ve noticed that there seems to be some “buzz” from the main stream media recently about our fragile and unprotected power grid.

A previously unreported study by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission say’s “the U.S. could suffer a national blackout if attackers knocked out just nine of the country’s electric-transmission substations on a hot summer day.”

The study concluded that coordinated attacks in each of the nation’s three separate electric systems could cause the entire power network to collapse.

The commission concluded that the three electrical systems that serve the entire nation could go dark if as few as nine of the country’s 55,000 electric-transmission substations were knocked out in the East, the West and in Texas, according to the report.

I’ve always said that not all who wish America harm are stupid.  There’s some pretty sophisticated bad guys out there.  And it’s my guess that they pay pretty well for “Specialized Talent” to get the job done. And by talent I mean computer hackers, engineers, explosive experts, you name it.

EvilBanker1

I also say in my book that, there are scores of people who are hoping and praying for an apocalyptic event that brings society into the middle ages again.  I’ve spoken with young men in their early twenties who feel society has not dealt them their fair share of the pie and are very angry. These young men are attracted to violence and power.”

My guess is that there are hundreds of thousands of people who are disgruntled with their station in life.  People hiding in plain sight, waiting and hoping for a Grid-Down event to occur in the country; only then to rise up with their kill list and exact their vengeance upon those they believe to have wronged them personally.

Our enemies recognize that our reliance on an unprotected power grid is “THE” key weakness in our infrastructure.

In April 2013, an attack on Pacific Gas & Electrics transmission substation in Metcalf, Calif., that lasted 52 minutes and knocked out 17 transformers.

The attack started when at least one person entered an underground vault to cut telephone cables, then attackers fired more than 100 shots, causing millions in damage. Workers were able to avert a blackout but it took them 27 days to repair the damage.

It’s of interest to note that the shots in this case were precise in that the shooters appear to have aimed at the transformers’ oil-filled cooling systems. These began to bleed oil, but didn’t explode, as the transformers probably would have done if hit in other areas.

Click HERE for the the full story.

I ask, what comes after the power is out?

The California attack “demonstrates that it does not require sophistication to do significant damage to the U.S. grid.

I know there are some hard core preppers out there who are ready for a 6 month long grid down situation.  Many of us are not. That includes me.

So now that you and I are armed with this knowledge, it’s up to us to get ready for this very real eventuality.

Before the grid goes down, I recommend you get your very own EMP resistant print copy of the SHTF Art of War.  You won’t be able to get one when there’s no electricity.

Facebook is not your friend…and never was.

You soon won’t have the privilege to say what you want.  It’s only a matter of time.  Complain all you want with memes and pithy quotes.

You can’t win.

Anti gun like button

Facebook is currently working with two anti-gun groups to further restrict firearm discussions on its various pages in a move that will likely lead to the outright censorship of gun topics throughout the social media site.

History shows that it’s the men in power that allow you to exercise your rights.

I have to say that I’m not a big fan of Alex Jones.  I think he’s a maniac.  However, he does point out information that the main stream media will not.

Before my book and my Facebook page become banned, I suggest you get wise to the SHTF Art of War.

In my book, I list post collapse professions that will ensure you are a value to a grid down community.

One of those professions I list is a “Brothel Owner.”
The world’s oldest profession has been a part of every civilization throughout mankind’s history.

Your opinion on the issue doesn’t matter. Sex sells! It is, after all, the oldest profession.  Women have been trading sex for goods and services since the dawn of man.

Men today are still paying for “sex” in one sense or another.

Right or wrong, prostitution is still making people money on every continent today.

In a collapsed society, resorting to prostitution may very well be the only way some women will be able to survive.  I’ve said in a previous post that “women will have it the worst during a societal collapse.” They always do.

One thing is certain, they’ll be plenty of morally deficient men willing to take advantage of this fact.
