One of my favorite books while studying guerrilla warfare in my military days, was a little known book called 150 Questions for a Guerrilla. Written by General Alberto Bayo.
Who’s he you may ask?
This classic on the tactics of the guerrilla fighter was written by the mentor of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. In question and answer format, General Bayo addresses how guerrilla units should be organized, how to defend a conquered city, the skills of the perfect guerrilla and how to attack a town.
For my book “The SHTF Art of War” I have adopted the theme of Sun Tzu and his tenant of “know your enemy and yourself.” My chapter called “apocalyptic warlord” describes the skills and traits of the enemy you will be facing in a grid down scenario.
I encourage you to also educate yourself on Alberto Bayo’s book of 150 Questions for a Guerrilla.
You may want a print version for your library.
Don’t forget about my book “The SHTF Art of War” as well. It’s designed to be a slap in the face reality check for when you find yourself having a “SHTF” kind of day.
