Cardboard Signs on Sticks

Every protest seems to be the same.

There’s no collective.

You have other protesters with their own agenda riding the coat tails of another protest with a different agenda.

It becomes a melting pot of non-sense.

It’s confusing and people have very short attention spans.

Every protest now is viewed by the your average working class citizen (who have bills to pay), as a bunch slackers wanting something for nothing.

Angry protesters

The message is lost in the white noise made by discontented cry babies.

Adding insult to injury, you have all these anarchist kids causing trouble at “peaceful” protests.

These black clad amateurs have upped their game lately though by blocking intersections, pepper spraying a few people, smashing windows and burning a car or two.

As long as these rookies do not become a collective and unified, they are just piss-ants who are an annoyance.

However, if a charismatic leader, shows up and uses their ability to inspire and motivate followers to perform at high levels, and to be committed to the cause, chaos will ensue.

Pepper spray and cardboard signs on sticks, will escalate to time and energy dedicated to destroying specific targets that cause power outages and delays in basic services.

THAT will get peoples attention.

Our unprotected electrical grid and “just-in-time” inventory systems of our grocery stores are painfully easy targets.

Art Of War

Punks, Dickweeds and Anarchists.

One of my fears during any disaster are the people who deliberately make a bad situation worse.
It doesn’t matter what manner of disaster has caused a societal collapse. A big danger during the collapse will be gangs of people with nothing to lose and looking to make a bad thing worse.
In recent history, we’ve witnessed people within crowds of demonstrators; instigate violence to insight and perpetuate more violence within the crowd.
Sometime these anarchists are plants from outside groups who want to spark a bigger demonstration or distraction.  Sometimes they are plants from the group being demonstrated against to cause the need for a greater use of force from authorities against the demonstrators.
I realized that there’s no shortage of people that have a feeling of bitterness towards authority and the civilized world.
My guess is that there are hundreds of thousands of people who are disgruntled with their station in life.  People hiding in plain sight, waiting and hoping for a Zombie Apocalypse to occur in the country.  Only then to rise up with their kill list and exact their vengeance upon those they believe to have wronged them.
